Welcome to Goose on the Loose Farm!

After years of talking about moving to the country to start a farm, we decided to actually do it. We sold our house, found a beautiful farm in the Kawartha Lakes, and set sail for our new big adventure. While we were excited, we had no idea
how big the adventure was actually going to be! The work of reclaiming and transforming the land has been a lot of work, but very rewarding. In 2023, we established our first gardens, sold our vegetables and plants at several farmers markets and met a lot of amazing people. This year we are building a greenhouse, and putting in new beds for more vegetables, native plants, pollinators, herbs, and flowers.

Main Street Kinmount along the Burnt River. Turn west at Gateway Store by the bridge. The charming riverside setting between the Historic Kinmount Railway Station and the Austin Sawmill Heritage Park, offers a tranquil setting for a beautiful Saturday morning at the market.
